My Plan for Gloucestershire

My Plan to stop crime, improve police visibility and access, making our communities safer

1. 300 more officers, deployed on local priorities with extra help from Government and focusing local resources on the frontline, we will put more Police Officers, Specials and PCSOs on our streets

2. Cut Anti-Social Behaviour in half – antisocial behaviour makes life miserable for too many people.  Tackling this crime is a tough job but, with more police and a public health approach to crime, we can do it

3. Review the Commissioner's budget - by ending the culture of spin and waste in the Commissioner's Office, I will free up cash for more officers to fight crime hot spots

4. Easier Police contact – fix 101 by ending long waits for calls to be answered, making it easier to report problems and concerns

5. Fight Rural crime - some parts of the county never see police officers – but with more Neighbourhood Police and new technology, we can give rural communities policing they deserve

6. Reduce internet and phone scams - improving awareness and working with national security agencies to tackle criminals
